A special service was held on the evening of Thursday, 11th August 2022 in St.Michael’s and South Parish church, for the “Setting Apart” of Stuart McDonald as a Reader.
The service was conducted by Rev Fiona Wilson, minister of Dalbeattie, Kirkgunzeon and Urr, and the “Setting Apart” by Rev Mhairi Wallace, moderator of the Presbytery of Dumfries and Kickcudbright.
The Anthem “Lead me Lord” by S.S.Wesley was sung by the church choir, led by the organist and choirmaster Mr Simon Hyslop.
